About

There’s more to mining than just mining. You’d be surprised at some of the things our miners are doing. Things that we’re incredibly proud of. Like helping build stronger communities, innovative technology, world-leading safety and new practices to reduce our impact on the environment.
Everyone knows we create jobs and generate money for the NSW economy – 86,000 people directly employed, over 300,000 indirectly plus $1.48 billion a year in royalties to the NSW Government that helps pay for nurses, teachers and police. But we won’t rest, because it’s not enough to be only good for the economy. We want to be good for NSW.
