Investing in skills for the future
October 28, 2011

Coal & Allied’s successful scholarship program for engineering students has now been expanded to include first year students enrolling in minerals processing, chemical, and environmental engineering degrees.

Muswellbrook High School graduate Ben McLean was awarded the 2010 scholarship, which was previously exclusive to first year students studying mining, mechanical, and electrical engineering degrees.

Ben completed his HSC in 2010 and is doing a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Science at the University of Newcastle. The scholarship can help to cover the expenses involved in moving out of home and studying at university.
